Former Prosecutor Files 4x Amount of Signatures Needed to Secure Ballot Status
Queens, NY--January 14th...Former Assistant District Attorney and candidate for Queens Borough President Jim Quinn today filed 7,809 signatures with the New York City Board of Elections to get on the ballot, four times more than the required 2,000 signatures needed.
“This campaign is a movement to stop the radical progressive insanity that is threatening our public safety and the incredible outpouring of support I have received is proof that this message is resonating with people from all political persuasions,” said former Assistant District Attorney Jim Quinn. “Everywhere I go, I hear concerns and outrage from people who are fed up with the extreme direction politicians are taking our city. I spent my life fighting to keep dangerous predators off our streets and delivering justice for crime victims, and I will bring that same conviction of service and commonsense to Borough Hall.”
Mr. Quinn expressed his gratitude to all of the volunteers, community and political leaders who carried petitions to accomplish this effort.
